DELHI------------------------A case has emerged in the Bhalswa Dairy area of ​​the national capital, Delhi, where a 19-year-old woman was raped at knifepoint. The victim is an ITI student. It is alleged that the perpetrator, Sahil Khan, violated her after threatening to kill her family members.

The incident, in which an ITI student was raped following threats to murder her family, took place in Delhi’s Bhalswa Dairy area. Enraged by the victim’s decision to report the crime, the accused also assaulted her father and brother, causing head injuries. On Monday, the police registered an FIR, invoking charges of rape, assault, and other relevant sections of the law, and have initiated an investigation.

According to reports, the 19-year-old victim resides in the Bhalswa Dairy area; her parents work for a private firm. The student stated that Sahil Khan, who lives in the vicinity, had been harassing her for the past year. He would frequently intercept her, pressuring her to marry him and threatening to kill her family while brandishing a knife. When he could not confront her in person, he would harass her by calling from various mobile numbers. Out of fear, she did not disclose the situation to anyone. The student alleges that on Monday evening, while she was out for some work, the accused forced her onto his motorcycle at knifepoint. He then took her to a flat, raped her, and released her only after threatening to kill her.

Upon learning of the incident, the victim’s family went to Sahil’s home to confront him, but the accused—along with his associates—attacked them. They struck the victim’s father and brother with a *tawa* (griddle), causing head injuries. It is also alleged that the victim’s clothes were torn during the altercation. The family managed to escape and subsequently informed the police.

Following a medical examination, the police registered an FIR based on the victim’s statement. An investigative team has been formed under the leadership of Sub-Inspector (SI) Monika. A police officer stated that the condition of the injured father and son is stable. Raids are being conducted to locate the accused.

Meanwhile, in the Bawana area of ​​Delhi, an incident has come to light where an attempt was made to rape an 11-year-old girl after gagging her. Acting on the victim's complaint, the police have registered an FIR and launched raids to apprehend the accused, a young man who is a neighbor. According to reports, the girl lives with her family in a village in Bawana and is a fifth-grade student. The victim stated that she was playing outside her home on Monday evening when a 19-year-old neighbor approached her and asked her to come to his house. Since she had known him since childhood, she agreed and went with him. Once there, the accused gagged her with a handkerchief and attempted to rape her. The victim managed to push him away, escaped, and reached her home. She informed her parents about the incident, following which a complaint was filed at the Bawana police station.
