First CPI(M) Contingent Reaches Ramlila Maidan Ahead of Opposition Rally

New Delhi: The first contingent of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has reached Ramlila Maidan in Delhi ahead of the INDIA bloc's mega rally against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Party workers and supporters are arriving at the venue to participate in the opposition's protest, which is focused on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and demands for accountability from the Election Commission.

The rally is being attended by leaders and workers from several opposition parties, including the Congress, Samajwadi Party and Trinamool Congress. The INDIA bloc has organised the gathering under its 'Vote Bachao, Desh Bachao' campaign.
