ARA---------------------------A march, protest, and public meeting were organized at Isadhi Bazar in the Jagdishpur block of Bhojpur district to oppose the alleged controversial statements made by Dhirendra Shastri. The protest concluded with the burning of an effigy of Dhirendra Shastri. Hundreds of people, including former MLA Bhai Dinesh, participated in the event.

Addressing the gathering, former MLA Bhai Dinesh stated that he holds faith in both Lord Ram and Lord Krishna. He emphasized that his faith is not confined to any single religion or individual, noting that Lord Ram and Lord Krishna are symbols of reverence for millions. He asserted that religious platforms should not be used to make statements that incite controversy, religious division, or mutual animosity within society.

Bhai Dinesh remarked that anyone who engages in wrongdoing—regardless of how influential they may be—must be opposed. He stressed that no one has the right to divide society in the name of religion or faith. The purpose of worship and religious events should be to foster love, harmony, and brotherhood, not to stir up conflict.

He demanded that the central government ban all events and programs organized by Dhirendra Shastri. Furthermore, he called for an impartial investigation into the alleged controversial statements and urged that, if any offense is established under the law, an FIR be registered and appropriate legal action—including arrest—be taken.

On this occasion, Bhai Dinesh submitted an application to the Station House Officer (SHO) of the Aayar police station, requesting the registration of an FIR and the initiation of legal proceedings. Additionally, a memorandum was sent—via the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) of Jagdishpur—to the President of India, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, the Prime Minister, and the Governor and Chief Minister of Bihar. The memorandum demands an investigation into Dhirendra Shastri’s alleged controversial remarks, the initiation of legal action, and a ban on his future events. Hundreds of people were present at the event, including Suresh Pehalwan, Shyam Babu Singh, Birendra Singh, Muna Yadav, Suresh Yadav, Satyanarayan Singh, Bir Bahadur Singh, Lal Bahadur Singh, Rajkumar Singh, Raju Yadav, Dinanath Singh, Lakshman Singh, Hanuman Ji, Shyam Bihari Singh, Dev Kumar, Manji Singh, Ashok Singh, Ranjan Singh, Dhananjay Singh, Seth Yadav, Mantu Singh, Pappu Singh, Shiv Kumar Singh, Dharmendra Singh, Badh Singh, Toofani Singh, and Bhalu Sah.

Dinesh stated that the purpose of this protest is not to oppose any religion or religious belief, but rather to democratically oppose activities that incite conflict and animosity within society in the name of religious faith. He emphasized that it is the responsibility of us all to maintain peace, harmony, and brotherhood in society.
