BHABHUA-----------------------An advocate at the Bhabhua Civil Court has submitted a formal complaint to the Station House Officer (SHO) of Bhabhua, alleging that individuals entered the court premises, pointed a pistol at him, demanded extortion money, threatened to kill him and his entire family, and attempted to gouge out his eyes. In his complaint filed on November 5, 2026, the advocate, Tarun Parmar, has named Bansh Prakash Singh, Ankit Kumar Singh, and an unidentified person. According to the complaint, the incident occurred on November 4 at approximately 4:00 PM. Advocate Tarun Parmar was in his chamber, drafting a legal case, when the three accused—armed with weapons—approached his desk. It is alleged that Bansh Prakash Singh and Ankit Kumar Singh held a pistol to his chest, used abusive language, and threatened to kill him and his entire family. The accused also threatened to abduct him using a vehicle. The advocate further alleges that when he resisted, Bansh Prakash Singh attempted to gouge out his eyes by pressing his thumbs forcefully into them. He managed to defend himself. Upon noticing other advocates and senior lawyers approaching, the three accused fled the scene, continuing to issue death threats. The complaint also notes that one of the accused, Bansh Prakash Singh, is currently out on bail in connection with a case (Chainpur Police Station Case No. 380/2026) involving the firing of approximately 50 rounds in his village. The advocate has attributed the incident to a grudge held by the accused following the loss of a Special Leave Petition (SLP) in the Supreme Court. The advocate has requested the Station House Officer (SHO) of Bhabhua police station to register an FIR against the named accused, initiate legal action under relevant sections, and ensure the safety of advocates within the court premises. In this regard, the administration has registered Bhabhua police station case number 1149/26, and an investigation is currently underway.
