MISCREANTS ATTACKED JUVENILE VEHICLE

BHABHUA-------------------------Chaos erupted at Bhabhua Sadar Hospital when a group of miscreants attacked a vehicle transporting juvenile detainees from a juvenile detention center for medical examinations. It is alleged that the attackers attempted to smash the vehicle's windows and assaulted both the superintendent and a security officer accompanying the detainees. The juvenile detainees and the security officer reportedly sustained minor injuries.

According to reports, the superintendent of the juvenile detention center, Ajay Kumar, had brought the detainees to Bhabhua Sadar Hospital for medical check-ups, following a court directive. The vehicle was parked near the main gate of the hospital premises. At that time, a woman—who had arrived at the hospital to seek treatment for her child—was standing near the vehicle.

It is reported that the vehicle, while reversing, brushed against the woman. Enraged, the woman began using abusive language. The situation escalated rapidly, leading to a physical altercation. Superintendent Ajay Kumar stated that during the dispute, three individuals arrived on a motorcycle and attacked the vehicle—shattering its windows—and assaulted the security officer.

When journalists attempted to record the incident, the miscreants engaged in a confrontation with them as well. Superintendent Ajay Kumar alleged that the attack was a deliberate attempt to facilitate the escape of the juvenile detainees. The detainees and the security officer sustained minor injuries in the assault. Hospital security guards and local residents intervened to bring the situation under control.

The police were subsequently notified. Upon receiving the information, Bhabhua Station House Officer (SHO) Awadhesh Kumar arrived at the scene with a police contingent and initiated an inquiry into the incident. It has been reported that the individuals involved in the dispute are residents of Ward No. 14, Bhabhua. The police are investigating the entire matter and are taking further action.
