BHABHUA--------------------------A severe road accident occurred on NH-19 near the Pusauli Power Grid, within the jurisdiction of the Mohania police station. According to reports, a truck loaded with sand was heading towards Mohania when it was struck from behind by a truck-trailer carrying pipes.

The impact was so intense that the front section and the cabin of the truck-trailer were completely mangled. The driver became trapped inside the cabin following the collision. Alerted by the sound of the crash, people nearby rushed to the scene and began rescue efforts.

Upon receiving information about the incident, an NHAI patrolling team and the police arrived at the site. With the assistance of local residents, the damaged cabin was removed after a strenuous effort, and the driver was pulled out; however, he had already succumbed to his injuries.

Eyewitnesses stated that the collision was so forceful that the pipes being transported on the trailer were scattered across the road. The incident caused significant chaos on NH-19, disrupting the flow of traffic.

The police arrived, secured the scene, and initiated the removal of the wrecked vehicles from the road. The identity of the deceased driver has not yet been established. The police are currently working to identify the victim and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.

Preliminary findings suggest that high speed and a violent rear-end collision were the likely causes of the accident. However, the exact cause will only be determined following a thorough police investigation.
