ARA----------------------------On the occasion of National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas), the Bhojpur district administration flagged off a special group of travelers to visit the 'Statue of Unity' in Kevadia, Gujarat. District Magistrate Manesh Kumar Meena flagged off the journey. On this occasion, he extended his best wishes to the travelers and emphasized the importance of strengthening national unity, integrity, and communal harmony.

The primary objective of this trip is to foster a sense of national unity, integrity, and the spirit of 'unity in diversity' among the general public. Furthermore, the trip aims to acquaint the travelers with the life, struggles, and ideals of the 'Iron Man,' Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, as well as his pivotal role in nation-building.

The 'Statue of Unity' is the world's tallest statue, erected in memory of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the country's first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister. The statue stands as a symbol of India's unity, integrity, and national resolve. During the visit, participants will gain detailed insights into Sardar Patel’s contributions and his instrumental role in the integration of independent India.

The district administration believes that such journeys help strengthen patriotism, national consciousness, and social harmony among the youth and citizens. Organized on the occasion of National Unity Day, this initiative serves as a bridge connecting people to the nation's glorious heritage and the contributions of its great leaders.

Several senior officials were present during the event, including the Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC), the Officer-in-Charge of the General Branch, the Art and Culture Officer, the District Fisheries Extension Officer, and the District Project Officer for the 'Namami Gange' project. The officials wished the travelers a successful and inspiring journey.
