SASARAM--------------------------The Government of Bihar has suspended Munna Kumar, a Junior Engineer posted at the Kochas sub-division of the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), with immediate effect. The suspension follows allegations of demanding bribes, negligence in the execution of duties, and irregularities in water supply schemes.
According to a departmental order issued on October 26, 2024, the investigation report indicates that the allegations regarding bribery have been substantiated prima facie. During the period of his suspension, his designated headquarters will be Purnia.
